Jose, an Everbridge GSOC manager, has just reviewed the latest satellite imagery from Ukraine and it shows a renewed Russian military build-up along Russian-Ukrainian border. Paired with recent news reports and press releases, he knows this is causing increased tension between Ukraine, Russia, and NATO allies.
Jose has learned that due to the tensions, several airlines are taking steps to mitigate the risk to their passengers and equipment. On 12 February, KLM Royal Dutch airlines announces that it is suspending all flights to Ukraine with immediate effect and that all its aircraft would avoid Ukrainian airspace until further notice.
As the situation dramatically intensifies, Russia invades along Ukraine’s eastern border. As Ukrainians begin to flee, Stephanie, Acme Corp’s CSO, reaches out to Everbridge for assistance. James from Everbridge helps coordinate extraction procedures for all Acme Corp employees currently located in Ukraine.
James and Stephanie work together to ensure all Acme Corp employees have been able to leave the country safely. They coordinate with local teams about the location of medical centers outside of border checkpoints and coordinate supplies to be shipped to employees who left home without the needed necessities.
